Forged in the same fires as our famous Liberty Bell, the 1702 Christ Church Bell is a living instrument carrying the sound of our Nation's revolution to the present. The bell symbolizes the endurance of this great American experiment.
At one time, the Great Bell rang to inspire ideals of equality in our forefathers. It rang the call to sermon for those seeking a new path, and ultimately to celebrate the first notes of the birth of our country. For a time, it was lost, estranged from its people. Now, it hangs, eager to resonate in the ears of a new generation.
This event showcases the architecture vision by MOTO Designshop to restore the bell to its new home in the Christ Church courtyard.
