Located just 60 minutes north of Philadelphia, this 3-hour program will include a survey of the ongoing water and land management techniques being used to restore a hardwood forest to a more pristine condition including goats for woody plant management, onsite reuse of the by products of invasive species such as bamboo and strangle vines, and the protection of underground springs.
Work alongside a team of renowned landscape architects and botanists to build whimsical or utilitarian structures using materials culled from the ongoing preservation.
This gorgeous property is near the upper Delaware River, Frenchtown and other quintessential “Bucks Country†natural areas and quaint towns. Make a day of it. Program will run rain or shine and snacks will be provided. Bring work gloves and hand pruners if possible. Highly recommended; wear long sleeves and pants.
