Join Windgate ITE resident fellow and custom furniture maker, Reed Hansuld, for a talk about his work, which focuses on finding a balance between modern style, high quality craft, and functionality.
To celebrate The Center for Art in Wood’s 19th year hosting the Windgate ITE International Residency program, residents in the program worked together for two months in Philadelphia to collaborate and focus on new directions in their work. The grand finale exhibition for the 2014 ITE program is Form + Spirit 2014.
This multidisciplinary exhibition will reflect each resident fellow’s experiences including objects produced before and during the residency. Three-dimensional work will be accompanied by photos, essays, films, and other documentation depicting their summer experience. Included will be each fellow’s statements about their personal and professional experiences.
Exhibition on view October 9–11 and October 14–17, from 10am–5pm.
