Data Gardens at PMA's summer program Art Splash

Next week Data Garden will join the Philadelphia Museum of Art for Art Splash – a summer program for kids at the PMA. From July 29th – August 3rd, Data Garden will present a week of workshops, installation art, and performance pieces inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Three Musicians. Read Full Story

Opening Reception and Artist Talk with LandLab Artists

Visit the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education this Saturday for the unveiling of the completed LandLab installation. LandLab is a new artist residency program launched this Spring. The program - a joint project of the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education and the Center for Emerging Visual Artists - operates to connect artist creation with ecological restoration and education. The result of LandLab will be an innovative, art-based installations that prevent or remediate environmental damage while raising public awareness about our local ecology. Read Full Story

David Lynch coming to PAFA, CALL FOR ARTIST for Eraserhood Forever exhibit

PAFA presents David Lynch: The Unified Field on view September 13, 2014 through January 11, 2015. The Unified Field is the first major US museum exhibition of David Lynch, who attended PAFA briefly in the 60's, featuring works from all periods of the filmmaker’s career: approximately 90 paintings and drawings from 1965 to present, many of which have rarely or never been shown to the public.
